About
With over nine years of expertise in product design, particularly focused on edtech, I also dedicate my spare time to crafting insightful articles on interface design.
My Values
Human Centered Design: As an advocate for user-centric approaches, I prioritize understanding my users and their needs.
Accessible + Inclusive Design: While creating accessible products serves as a foundational step, true inclusivity involves ensuring that every individual can engage with and benefit from the design.
Collaborative Design: The best ideas come from the most unexpected places. The more people involved in the ideation process, the better the solution will be.
Memorable Design: In an era where digital products risk homogeneity, I endeavor to craft designs that leave a lasting impression by pushing the boundaries of creativity and originality.
Research Informed Design: Grounding every decision in meticulous research mitigates risks and ensures the validity and effectiveness of the design solutions implemented.
Purpose Orientated Design: Design serves a purpose beyond aesthetics; it should be purposeful, aiming to address and resolve challenges, regardless of their scale, to deliver tangible value to users.
LabXchange
LabXchange is a Harvard University project. The goal of the site is to bring free STEM education to the world. I have worked on LabXchange from its early stages, when it was a grant document, to to the product you see today with over +45 Million unique users. This involved building online lab simulations, interactive learning content and the platform itself.
Articles
I write articles on how to improve your craft as a product designer. The second series of articles I wrote are the Cheatsheet series which are published through the UX Collective. This lead to another project with Balsamiq Wireframing Academy.
